Escape to the Spanish countryside for 5 days of Yoga, meditation & relaxation. Our villa has its own private heated pool and is nestled in the Spanish mountains for some much needed rest & relaxation!
After a unique experience? Something a little deeper than your regular 1hr Yoga class? A workshop or a retreat is definitely the way to go.
I theme my workshops and retreats around one of several themes such as – a type of Yoga, the moon’s cycles, holiday’s, pranayama, Goddesses, Reiki, or even emotional or body areas. Each workshop and retreat is designed to work for and with a specific purpose and there is always something to be gained.

Restorative Yoga + Yoga Nidra Workshop
We’ll kick off with a Cacao/Tea ceremony for 15-20 mins or so before settling in on our mat with some Restorative Yoga.
Restorative Yoga is exactly what it says on the tin – Restorative! We will hold mat-based postures for around 4-6 mins at a time. Unlike our Yin classes we will use a variety of props in this workshop to make sure we are extra comfortable in these poses. They are supposed to be restful, rather than an active stretch!
So think of bringing cushions, pillows, blankets, blocks, bolsters, eye mask etc. to make the poses as restful as possible. They will still give you a stretch, but in a very gentle way.
We’ll then come into the Yoga Nidra (Meditation) portion of the workshop. Yoga Nidra literally means Yogic Sleep and is a long, guided meditation designed to take you to a deeper level of consciousness whilst relaxing each and every part of the body. It’s said that an hour of Yoga Nidra is equivalent to several hours of good sleep. You’ll feel like a new person afterwards!The workshop all in all will be incredibly relaxing and you’ll get that post-Savasana bliss from your Yoga Nidra. I hope to see you there!
